Patrick Beverley didn't like this development, and the Jazz player blasted the Nets star on Twitter.
"Y'all can sit back and say nothing, but that's not cool. There are players with families out of work because of Durant and his shit. This is not nice," said Beverley in a tweet.
Durant responded to Beverley's tweet directly and ironically with the hashtag 'Blame KD'.
Reports in the US said many teams were waiting for the dominoes that the Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving trades would bring to move and sign free agents or make trades.
In the end, valuable time was lost, Durant stayed in Brooklyn, and probably the reason for Beverley's comment is the negative effect Durant's indecision had on other players in the league.
