Recently the Brooklyn Nets have convinced Kevin Durant to stay in Brooklyn. The Nets could keep him happy by adding veteran free agent Carmelo Anthony.

Signing Anthony is what Durant wants, according to Brian Lewis of the New York Post.

Nets, who have two spots available on the roster, had been hesitant to make any moves since Durant requested a trade in June, but with the news of Durant staying, it is expected that the two rosters spots won't be vacant for long.

Last season Anthony had a productive season with the Los Angeles Lakers, where the 10-time NBA All-Star averaged 13.3 points and 4.2 rebounds per game in 69 games.

The 38-year-old is likely to be comfortable coming off the bench as he did most of his game last season with the Lakers.
