Kriisa then answered Doncic by waving his finger, implying that he shouldn't argue about the call. Both players exchanged some words and looks, but no technicals were given.
After the game, Kriisa was asked about the whole situation, and he simply answered that he stood for his teammate.
"We don't let people just step on us," Kriisa said after the game. "Otherwise, we could have just stayed in Estonia and not even come here. If somebody says something to us, we talk back. He showed a reaction, so it means it's pretty easy to get into his head too."
Doncic finished the game with 25 points (6/10 2PT, 3/8 3PT, 4/8 FT), 11 rebounds, 8 assists, 2 turnovers, and 30 EFF.
"Luka is Luka," Kriisa praised the Slovenian star. "He's a great player, and he played great tonight."
After yesterday's win, Slovenia has a 5-2 record and sits in third place in Group J. Meanwhile, Estonia is last with a 2-5 record.
