German Basketball Federation has updated the status of Daniel Theis' recovery from injury. The German center is set to join the team practices in Munich.

German Basketball Federation announced on Friday night that the Indiana Pacers big man Daniel Theis will join the national team in practices in Munich.

The Pacers center was training individually since the German national team's preparation camp started.

Theis is monitored by the medical staff of the German national team with the hopes to be cleared to play in the upcoming EuroBasket.

The final decision on Theis participation in the upcoming EuroBasket will come on Tuesday.

The 30-year-old is still ruled out for the World Cup qualifiers in Munich against Slovenia on August 28.

It was recently reported that another German national team star Dennis Schroder has recovered from his injury.
