Whether it was statements about the upcoming signings or other stuff, the businessman has been in the spotlight ever since the club made it back to the grandest stage of European basketball.
Two weeks ago, Partizan started selling season tickets ranging from 13,000 Serbian dinars (~€110) up to 98,000 Serbian dinars (~€830) for Premium seats. Mijailovic provided an update now about the process to the club's YouTube channel.
"We are on the figure of around 9,000 tickets sold and we are on the verge of exceeding the threshold of 10,000 and convincingly entering a new figure that will become a new record in the EuroLeague when teams sell season tickets," Partizan's president bragged.
"We haven't given away a single free ticket this season, and that's how we'll end it. Zeljko Obradovic bought tickets in the first row out of his own pocket and paid for them," Mijailovic commented about the team's coach in the Serbia-Greece. " All the people who are in the club and who are sponsors have bought tickets. Everyone will have to buy tickets."
Additionally, Mijailovic announced that he is running to become the president of the entire Partizan organization, not only the basketball club.
Partizan's players have begun training for the upcoming EuroLeague season with the first session having been hosted on Monday.
