The entire Bosnian squad was ecstatic after the match, including their head coach Adis Beciragic.

"The atmosphere was incredible. We played with a lot of energy during most of the game and that's the reason for the victory," the coach began the post-game press conference. "Congratulations to the players, they did a great job after a heavy defeat in Montenegro."

"To come back against this kind of team shows that we are intelligent. I am a little worried about mistakes in the organization of the attack. It will not be like this at the EP, if we do not reduce the number of mistakes, no one will help us," Beciragic explained. "Now we are happy but we could have played much better and won by 20 so they don't even know where we came from."

Real Madrid's newcomer Dzanan Musa was once again one of the main figures on the team. He finished the match with 17 points and provided a key assist to a shot that iced the game with seconds left in the second overtime.

"Unbelievable. We didn't stop believing for a single moment. What can I say, now we finally showed that we know how to play basketball and showed that to everyone who was against us," Musa said after the game.

"The story in the locker room, we said that we will go out and leave our hearts on the court. What we wanted is to respect the head coach's ideas on the field and it worked," the forward explained.

Bosnia and Herzegovina will face a tough battle in Group B in EuroBasket 2022 with Lithuania, France, Germany, Slovenia, and Hungary in the group. Four teams advance to the next round in the tournament starting on September 1st.
