"I practiced fully and there were no problems, that is, no reactions after the training, which was the most important thing," Nedovic told MozzartSport.
"Truthfully, I will miss that the most now," the guard said about having less playing experience during August due to injury. "We have, so to speak, a stroll at the beginning of the group stage and if the coach decides to take me to EuroBasket, I could feel the game and get ready for the next and the most important stage of the tournament."
Nedovic suffered a muscle hematoma during the friendly match against Slovenia on August 17th and has played since. Talking about the performance of his teammates and the team itself, the guard was confident.
"It all looks great to me but I'm honestly not surprised. I've been with the guys since the first day, I've seen how it all looks in training and we look quite powerful," Nedovic said. "There's room for improvement in every segment of the game but so far it's all looking very good. I hope that we will transfer this form to EuroBasket."
"I put myself in the position of the opposing teams where whenever Nikola Jokic leaves the game, Nikola Milutinov, the best center in Europe, enters. It's not easy for anyone and we practically have that situation in every position," he told.
Serbia will compete in Group D of EuroBasket 2022 together with the Netherlands, Finland, Poland, the Czech Republic, and Israel. The first game for the Serbians is scheduled on Friday against the Netherlands.
