Spanish ACB leads overwhelmingly over any other league in this category.
50 players from the Spanish ACB will represent their countries in EuroBasket 2022 if we count all the players that are still with their national teams two days before the competition begins.
The League with the highest number of overall players in the upcoming EuroBasket will be the strongest European continental league EuroLeague, which will have 69 players representing their countries.
The strongest basketball league in the world, NBA will have 34 representatives in EuroBasket 2022. No other team than the Milwaukee Bucks will have 3 players or more in the competition.
Georgian big man Sandro Mamukelashvili, as well as the Greek Antetokounmpo brothers Giannis and Thanasis, are the Bucks players who will compete in the EuroBasket. 10 NBA teams will have 2 representatives each in the old continent's tournament.
The European league with the second highest representation in the upcoming EuroBasket will be the Turkish BSL, which as of August 30, still has 22 players that are going to play in the tournament.
The two EuroLeague giants, Fenerbahce Beko Istanbul and Anadolu Efes Istanbul will have 11 players combined in the tournament. Five players from Anadolu Efes and six from their rivals Fenerbahce.
However, it's not the number but rather the quality that the players from those two clubs will bring. Reigning EuroLeague MVP Vasilije Micic and other big names such as Shane Larkin, Achille Polonara, Nick Calathes, Marko Guduric, and Nemanja Bjelica will all play in the upcoming EuroBasket.
A surprisingly high number of players in the upcoming EuroBasket will have the joint Belgian and Netherlands national championship BNXT league, which in total has 21 players that will suit up for their national teams in the EuroBasket that starts September 1.
Of those 21 players, 12 play for the Belgian clubs and 9 for clubs in the Netherlands. The club from the Netherlands, Heroes Den Bosch, will field 5 players in the EuroBasket.
19 Italian Serie A players will compete in the EuroBasket, 11 of which will also play in the EuroLeague next season with Armani Exchange Milan (6) and Virtus Bologna (5).
Meanwhile, German BBL will have 18 representatives in the upcoming EuroBasket, of which half will play in the EuroLeague clubs ALBA Berlin and FC Bayern Munich next season.
While a strong Israeli league having 14 representatives is not surprising, nor is the Greek league also having 14, the Polish league is going to be represented by 13 players in the EuroBasket.
However, the names from the Polish league cannot compare to those from the Israeli league, especially the Greek league, which has two EuroLeague teams and players such as Sasa Vezenkov of Olympiacos Piraeus or Marius Grigonis of Panathinaikos OPAP Athens.
The Serbian basketball league has 12 players representing their countries in EuroBasket 2022, while the French LNB Pro A has 11. Montenegrin Prva A league has 11 players playing in the upcoming EuroBasket, and Lithuanian LKL has 10.
Hungarian league will have 12 as of August 30, but 11 of those players are Hungarian, and at least a couple of them will not make the final Hungarian roster for the 2022 EuroBasket.
It is worth noting that a surprisingly low amount of players will field the Chinese Basketball Association, and the Australian NBL, with just 1 player from each of those two leagues.
The most surprising league with a player in the EuroBasket 2022 might be the Iraqi league, where Georgian national team player Mikheil Berishvili plays for the Iraqi team Air Defence SC.
There is also a Georgian player Giorgi Tsintsadze from a Tunisian league, representing US Monastir club.
