Johannes Voigtmann signed a two-year deal with AX Armani Exchange Milan. The club wanted to sign the player last summer already but the deal fell off.

A day after Germany locked down France in its defensive claws, a member of the German roster has officially found his new team.

AX Armani Exchange Milan have announced the signing of Johannes Voigtmann to a two-year deal.

"I’m happy to join such a prestigious team with high ambitions. I hope to help the team accomplish its goals, I understand that they are very high and the expectations are very high. This is one more reason to come and contribute," Voigtmann said following the signing.

Milan had already shown interest in Voigtmann last summer, sources told BasketNews, but in the end, the player remained in Moscow for another season.

Last season, the 2.11-meter forward averaged 8.4 points, 4 rebounds, and 2 assists for CSKA Moscow in the EuroLeague, while shooting 40% from beyond the arc.
