Dallas Mavericks forward Maxi Kleber is finalizing a three-year, $33 million extension.

Dallas Mavericks forward Maxi Kleber is finalizing a three-year, $33 million contract extension, according to Shams Charania of The Athletic.

The deal would keep the 30-year-old German forward, who was entering the final year of his contract, in Dallas through 2025-26.

Kleber averaged 7.0 points and 5.9 rebounds in 59 games (21 starts) with the Mavs in 2021-22.

He arrived in Dallas in 2017 after previous stints with Bayern Munich, Obradoiro, and Wurzburg.

Maxi Kleber has averaged 7.1 points and 4.8 rebounds over 326 NBA games (136 starts), all with Dallas.
