Giannis Antetokounmpo was shut down early in the third quarter by twisting his ankle. Nevertheless, he managed to prove his huge worth on the FIBA court during 19 playing minutes, leading Greece (5-0) to their fifth straight win at EuroBasket 2022.

Greece finished the group stage with a crushing win over Estonia (1-4), 90-69 (27-21, 24-15, 26-13, 13-20). Dimitris Itoudis' men will meet the Czech Republic in the Round of 16.

Giannis-led Greece ran away from their opponents in the second quarter. With Estonia trailing 25-30, Greece went on a 16-5 run to decide the game's outcome, creating a 16-point lead (46-30).

Greek Freak had 25 points (8/9 2PT,1/1 3PT, 6/7 FT),3 rebounds, 2 assists, and 29 EFF at halftime.

The Milwaukee Bucks superstar picked up two straight offensive fouls in the third quarter that forced him to leave the floor.

Giannis had a slight tweak of the right ankle. Greece's staff shut him down for the rest of the game to avoid risking further injury. He finished the match with the same 25 points.

After the match, head coach Dimitris Itoudis assured that Giannis is okay.

"I don't know why there's such a fuss," Itoudis wondered at the post-game presser. "Giannis was substituted and got iced like it always happens behind closed doors. Now, it just happened in public view. Now, it's all out in public. Everything is ok."

Greece: Giannis Antetokounmpo 25 (5 REB, 4 AST), Kostas Sloukas 11, Nick Calathes 9.

Estonia: Siim-Sander Vene 16, Kerr Kriisa 12, Kristjan Kitsing 10.
