The German national team did not practice fully yesterday due to injuries and illnesses yesterday. Today, the concerns about the participation of some of the players in the quarterfinal clash against Greece have been cleared up.

Yesterday, Johannes Voigtmann missed the practice due to an illness (cold), while Franz Wagner (ankle) and Nick Weiler-Babb (shoulder) practiced mostly individually.

Today, all twelve German players practiced fully and are expected to suit up for the evening match against Greece.

"We want to be in the quarterfinals and compete with the best," Dennis Schroder said earlier. "Giannis Antetokounmpo is, of course, one of the best basketball players at the moment, but we're ready, we've trained well, and we're in good spirits."

The Germany-Greece match is the second one of the day. Spain and Finland will start off the quarterfinal round today at 17:15 CET, while the duel of the home team against Dimitris Itoudis' squad is scheduled to begin at 20:30 CET.
