Germany-Greece match gets sold out, thousands of Greeks expected / News - Basketnews.com

All tickets to the EuroBasket 2022 quarterfinal match between Germany and Greece have been sold out. More than 3000 Greek fans are expected to attend the game.

The EuroBasket 2022 quarterfinal clash between Germany and Greece is one of the most anticipated of the week. A home team underdog going against a global superstar and a tournament favorite.

Although there were numerous tickets left for sale just last night, both local and international fans have decided to solve this injustice. According to the official EuroBasket 2022 ticket provider eventim.de, all tickets to the match have been sold out. Mercedes-Benz Arena in Berlin has a capacity of 14,500 people for basketball games.

There were reportedly close to 3000 Greek fans in the Round of 16 matchup versus the Czech Republic. SDNA.gr reports that even more Greek fans are expected to be present at the quarterfinal clash.

The German national team did not practice fully yesterday due to injuries and illnesses yesterday.Johannes Voigtmannmissed the practice due to an illness (cold), whileFranz Wagner(ankle) andNick Weiler-Babb(shoulder) practiced mostly individually.

Today, all twelve German players practiced fully and are expected to suit up for the evening match against Greece.
