Turkish Basketball Federation has reported that Shane Larkin underwent a successful surgery on his finger.

Shane Larkin missed Turkey's Round of 16 match against France due to an injury, which could have put them in the quarter-final of EuroBasket 2022.

Larkin injured his fingers during the game against Montenegro in the group stage of EuroBasket.

The Anadolu Efes Istanbul guard underwent successful surgery on his finger as reported by the Turkish Basketball Federation on Wednesday.

Injuries were not missing from this year's EuroBasket, with Shane Larkin being one of many players that got injured. Turkey's guard suffered a finger injury and was ruled out of the Round of 16 match against France, where the Turkish national team was eliminated in a dramatic fashion 87-86.

The EuroLeague season starts October 6, which means Larkin will not recover in time for the most prestigious old continent club competition's start in time.
