France dominated from the very beginning of the match until the very end to blow out Poland 95-54 (15-9, 19-9, 30-18, 31-18) en route to the final of EuroBasket 2022.

This marks the biggest victory margin in EuroBasket semifinal history. Only two semi-finals in EuroBasket history had ended with a differential of 30 or more points before, and Poland also took part in one of those two games (the Soviet Union beat Hungary by 38 in 1963 and the Soviet Union beat Poland by 40 in 1967).

France's defensive masterclass started right from the very beginning of the match. With Andrew Albicy actively guarding AJ Slaughter and Terry Tarpey forming a duet with Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot to defend Mateusz Ponitka, France allowed Poland to score just 9 points in the first 10 minutes.

The story continued into the second quarter with France limiting the shooting options of Igor Milicic's team. This was the third time Poland scored less than 20 points in the first half in EuroBasket history with the two previous times being 18 vs. the Soviet Union in 1963 and 13 vs. Spain in 2013.

The second half was just a mere formality as France continued to dominate on both ends of the court. All 12 players appeared on the court for France and all of them scored at least 3 points.

Guerschon Yabusele was the top scorer on the French roster with 22 points on 9-for-12 shooting. Evan Fournier was the only other player to score 10 or more points.

Neither of the Polish players scored in double digits with AJ Slaughter leading the way with just 9.

Poland: AJ Slaughter 9 (3/7 3PT), Mateusz Ponitka 7 (3/7 2PT).

France: Guerschon Yabusele 22 (5/6 2PT, 4/6 3PT), Evan Fournier 10 (3/3 3PT).
