After Spain beat Germany in the EuroBasket 2022 semifinal, all national teams reached the final in every possible tournament this year.

Spain's national team extended an incredible run of its junior teams, reaching the EuroBasket 2022 final.

La Roja beat Germany in the semifinal 96-91 and became the ninth Spanish national team that reached the final this year, including men's and women's rosters.

Men:

U16 – silver in EuroBasket; U17 – silver in World Cup; U18 – gold in EuroBasket; U20 – gold in EuroBasket; Senior team – ?

Women:

U16 – silver in EuroBasket; U17 – silver in World Cup; U18 – silver in EuroBasket; U20 – gold in EuroBasket; Senior team – Women's World Cup begins on September 22.

"This is the ninth final this summer for Spain," Scariolo said in the press conference after the win against Germany. "I don't know if we can seize the mention of this number. Spain put a team in the final in every single competition."

"There is a lot of work behind it, many people. I want them to enjoy it because it's their accomplishment as well.

Every year they're putting something over the table to keep growing, keep getting towards the first team. This doesn't happen overnight, this doesn't happen by itself. It's been many years of hard work, and we're happy to show our values of being a team," Scariolo added.

Since 1999, Spain men's national team has never missed the EuroBasket semifinals. With today's win, Spain also clinched its 7th EuroBasket medal in a row. In 2009, 2011, and 2015 La Roja captured gold, winning silver in 2007 and bronze in 2013 and 2017.
