Free agent Kostas Antetokounmpo is signing a training camp deal with the Chicago Bulls and will compete for a two-way spot, according to Shams Charania of The Athletic.
Last season, Giannis' brother spent with LDLC ASVEL Villeurbanne and competed in the EuroLeague. He averaged 5.4 points, 2.5 rebounds, and 6.6 PIR over 28 matches in the top European club competition.
Prior to his stint in France, Kostas played in the NBA with Los Angeles Lakers where registered 0.8 points and 1.3 rebounds per game (15 contests) in 2020-21.
He was drafted 60th overall by the Philadelphia 76ers in the 2018 NBA draft. Then his draft rights were traded to the Dallas Mavericks. Eventually, Antetokounmpo joined the Lakers, with whom he won the NBA championship in 2020.
Kostas Antetokounmpo just finished his tenure with the Greek national team at EuroBasket 2022.
He missed the first four duels due to injury and didn't score in the other two where he appeared on the court. Greece was eliminated from the tournament by Dennis Schroder's Germany.
