Since the 2017-18 season, Real has been shrinking their basketball section budget. However, this past campaign it shot up to €50.82 million.
Bonuses, contract termination with Pablo Laso, and Gabriel Deck's signing were the main reasons behind such numbers.
Real Madrid reportedly plan to have a 22% cut in payroll for the 2022-23 season. They also expect an income of €18.0 million and losses up to €23.6 million.
