Ergin Ataman revealed Anadolu Efes might make a move to fill in the gap in Shane Larkin's absence for 2-3 months.

Shane Larkin was injured while playing for the Turkish national team in FIBA EuroBasket 2022.

Speaking to the media Friday, coach Ergin Ataman commented on Larkin's absence and revealed Efes may make a move for a temporary replacement, as long as the club's management agrees.

"We will discuss whether to make a transfer in Shane Larkin's absence at the board meeting on Monday. We're looking at who's available right now. If we find a player to fill in the gap for 2-3 months, we can evaluate it," Ataman told reporters.

The 56-year-old specialist also stated that Larkin is expected to return towards the end of November.

Anadolu Efes star guard underwent successful surgery on his finger on September 14.
