ASVEL dominated in first and third quarters to secure an easy win against Bourg-en-Bresse.

LDLC ASVEL Villeurbanne dominated at home against JL Bourg-en-Bresse and captured an easy 102-84 (31-18, 24-23, 26-20, 21-23) win in the French LNB league.

ASVEL started the game much better, a note that would continue throughout the majority of the match. With 5 minutes left in the first quarter, the home team lead by a comfortable 10-point margin already (13-3).

Led by Youssoupha Fall, ASVEL continued holding a similar lead through the first half. When the third quarter came, the club put its game into a higher gear and built a 24-point advantage in the middle of the quarter (71-47).

The rest of the match was a mere formality and ASVEL captured their first win of the season.

Youssoupha Fall was the top scorer on the team with 20 points in 22 minutes. The big man also grabbed 7 rebounds to record a game-leading 23 PIR points. Amine Noua added 14 points, while Parker Jackson-Cartwright contributed with 13 points and 8 assists.

Jordan Floyd led the Bourg team with 15 points on 5-for-9 shooting.
