After starting the match pretty slowly in the first 10 minutes, Olympiacos gained momentum during the next two quarters. Alec Peters, Joel Bolomboy, and Isaiah Canaan propelled the team to a 13-point lead (43-30) with two minutes to go in the first half, and the team never looked back.
Olympiacos continued their dominance into the second half and already led by 21 with just a quarter to go (69-48). The remaining 10 minutes were just a formality, setting up a clash between two eternal rivals in the SuperCup final on Sunday.
Sasha Vezenkov was the highest-scoring player of the match with 19 points on 7-for-11 shooting in just 22 minutes of play. Alec Peters added 17 points off the bench, while Joel Bolomboy contributed with 12 points and 8 rebounds.
