After struggling in the first quarter, Olympiacos Piraeus kicked up a notch to guarantee themselves an easy win over Promitheas Patras 93-65 (23-19, 24-15, 22-14, 24-17).

After starting the match pretty slowly in the first 10 minutes, Olympiacos gained momentum during the next two quarters. Alec Peters, Joel Bolomboy, and Isaiah Canaan propelled the team to a 13-point lead (43-30) with two minutes to go in the first half, and the team never looked back.

Olympiacos continued their dominance into the second half and already led by 21 with just a quarter to go (69-48). The remaining 10 minutes were just a formality, setting up a clash between two eternal rivals in the SuperCup final on Sunday.

Sasha Vezenkov was the highest-scoring player of the match with 19 points on 7-for-11 shooting in just 22 minutes of play. Alec Peters added 17 points off the bench, while Joel Bolomboy contributed with 12 points and 8 rebounds.

Trevis Simpson led Promitheas with 16 points in his account. Meanwhile, the team's notable offseason signing from the G-League Joe Young struggled mightily, making just a single shot out of 14 tries.

Olympiacos: Sasha Vezenkov 19 (5/8 2PT, 2/3 3PT, 5 REB), Alec Peters 17 (6/8 2PT, 3/4 3PT), Joel Bolomboy 12 (5/7 2PT, 8 REB), Thomas Walkup 11 (7 AST), Michalis Lountzis 11 (3/4 3PT).

Promitheas: Trevis Simpson 16 (4/8 3PT), Arnoldas Kulboka 14 (3/6 3PT), Anthony Cowan Jr. 11 (3/6 3PT).
