Memphis Grizzlies center Steven Adams has agreed on a two-year, $25.2 million contract extension, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.

The 29-year-old Adams -- an immense culture piece for a young roster -- is now tied to the Grizzlies for three years, $43.1 million.

In the last regular season, the New Zealand big man averaged 6.9 points, 3.4 assists, and a career-high 10.0 rebounds per game. He saw action in 76 games (75 starts) in his first season with Memphis.

Adams played his first seven seasons with the Oklahoma City Thunder and one with the New Orleans Pelicans before being traded to the Grizzlies in the summer of 2021.
