Tickets for the October 18 season-opening game between the Los Angeles Lakers and reigning NBA champs Golden State Warriors at the Chase Center are selling as the second-most expensive regular-season ticket in NBA history.

Arash Markazi of The Sporting Tribune informed that the average TickPick sale price for this game is $897.

The only more expensive match was Kobe Bryant's last game in 2016, which had an average purchase price of $1,137.

The Warriors are expected to receive their 2022 NBA Championship rings ahead of the season opener, while the Lakers will start their bounce-back journey with a revamped roster and new head coach Darvin Ham.
