The reigning NBA champions Golden State Warriors finished their pre-season visit in Japan, Tokyo.

GSW overcame Rui Hachimura's Washington Wizards for the second time in a row on Sunday, 104-95 (26-25, 28-31, 20-29, 30-10).

Stephen Curry finished the game with 17 points (4/5 2PT, 3/8 3PT), 5 rebounds, and 3 assists.

After the match, the star guard hinted about FIBA World Cup 2023, which, for the first time in its history, will be hosted by multiple nations: the Philippines, Japan, and Indonesia.

The Philippines will welcome 16 teams while Japan and Indonesia will host 8 teams each.

"Hopefully, whether it's for the World Cup wearing a jersey, or whether it's just coming here as a visitor, enjoying the culture and the sights, I would like to have Tokyo and the rest of the area on my schedule at some point every summer. So, hopefully, I can make that happen," Curry stated in the post-game conference.

On the international stage, Curry won two World Cup gold medals in 2010 and 2014, but he lacks the most prestigious award – Olympic gold.
