Maccabi Tel Aviv boast a 90 million Israeli shekel (~€25.7 million) budget this year, a yearly increase of about 39%.

Lorenzo Brown, Wade Baldwin, Josh Nebo, Alex Poythress, Darrun Hilliard, and Austin Hollins were the main additions with several other players joining the roster this summer as well.
The changes did not come in cheap. According to journalists Yakov Meir and Tomer Givati from Israel Hayom, Maccabi has a budget of 90 million Israeli shekels this year, which amounts to about €25.7 million.
Compared to last year's data collected by BasketNews, the budget increased by approximately 39%.
The Tel Aviv powerhouse operates with a budget three times as large of the nearest team in the Israeli league. Hapoel Jerusalem sits in second place with a 26 million shekel budget (~€7.4 million) while Hapoel Holon and Hapeol Tel Aviv are tied-third with a 14 million shekel (~€4 million) budget.
Maccabi play their first match in the EuroLeague at home this Thursday against Zalgiris Kaunas. The game is scheduled to begin at 20:05 CET.
