LeBron James addressed NBA Commissioner Adam Silver with his aspirations to own a team in Las Vegas once the league expands.

The commissioner was not in attendance during the press conference but James decided to address him anyways.
"I would love to bring a team here at some point. That would be amazing. I know Adam is in Abu Dhabi right now, I believe," James said.
"But he [Silver] probably sees every single interview and transcript that comes through from NBA players. So, I want the team here, Adam. Thank you," added James.
While there is a plan for the league to expand and have teams in Seattle and Las Vegas, the reality is that this won't happen anytime soon.
The NBA plans to negotiate new television, media, and Collective Bargaining deals before seriously considering adding new teams to the league, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.
It was not the first time James has talked about his wish to own a team in Las Vegas. In June, the Lakers superstar mentioned his aspirations to one day own a team in Vegas, but this time he addressed NBA Commissioner Adam Silver directly.
