French unicorn accumulated 73 points on 22-for-44 shooting, nine 3-pointers, 15 rebounds, and nine blocked shots.

Following his couple of monster performances, Wembanyama was compared to an alien by LeBron Jamesanda player from the far future by Giannis Antetokounmpo.

"Everybody's been a unicorn over the last few years, but he [Wembanyama] is more like an alien. No one has ever seen anyone as tall as he is but as fluid and as graceful as he is on the floor," LeBron said.

"He's incredible. I believe in 2045, everybody is going to look like Victor," Giannis pointed out.

"His skills, the way he can shoot the ball, the way he can move, he's extremely fast for his size, he can block shots, he can be a threat on the defensive end, he's unbelievable," Greek Freak continued his praises.

"He has the chance to be one of the best, not at his age, not in Europe, but one of the best to ever play this game. We have never seen someone like that before. I think it's a good challenge for everybody in the league, to have somebody who's 7-foot-2 and is able to shoot over you, dribble like he's a guard, block shots, and run down the floor fast. We gotta get ready for this kid, you know? He's going to be really good," Giannis Antetokounmpo finished his compliments for Wembanyama.

Stephen Curry used a video game analog to define Frenchman's game.

"He's like the [NBA] 2K create-a-player, every point guard that wants to be 7-foot. Cheat-code-type vibes, man. He's a solid talent. It's great to watch," Curry described the No. 1 pick front-runner in the 2023 NBA Draft.

Kevin Durant joined the hype train as well to express his admiration.

"That type of talent and skill just puts a smile on your face if you play basketball," said Durant. "The evolution of the game has taken us this far. We got a 7'5" dude that's able to do everything on the court. It's inspiring to a lot of people.

"The league's really in trouble when he comes in. I want to see how it plays out. Everybody has been excited about his arrival to the league so we'll see what happens," the Brooklyn Nets leader added.

For his part, Rudy Gobert knew Wembanyama is going to be so good. Gobert has been following his compatriot since he was 13, and the new Timberwolves signing is excited about the future possibility to form a frontcourt duo with the 18-year-old Victor.

"It's really exciting. We are lucky to have such talent, we have never seen a player like Victor. I have known him since he was 13 and we knew he was going to be unique. He is very mature, he knows where he wants to go. I don't think there is any comparison possible," Gobert commented.

Despite all the nice words about himself, Victor Wembanyama stays down to earth.

"It's obviously an honor to have such great people talking about me like that, but it really doesn't change anything. I haven't done anything yet.

"I haven't played in an NBA game yet. I wasn't drafted, so I have to stay focused to achieve my goals. Because it's going to be difficult to improve every day and stay consistent," the French big man spoke with the ESPN crew.
