After two seasons with Maccabi Tel Aviv and a season with Olympiacos Piraeus, Dorsey has returned to the NBA for the upcoming season as he has signed with the Dallas Mavericks.

The guard has already played in two preseason games with his new NBA team. After Mavericks' loss to the Orlando Magic, Dorsey talked in an interview with Chris Henderson of the Fanatics View.

"It's a blessing to be here. After 3-4 years in Europe, it was always my goal to return to the NBA. I'm blessed to have been given this opportunity," Dorsey said after the game, in which he scored 8 points in 15 minutes.

"This is a great organization. Last year the Mavericks went to the Western Conference finals and every year they want to improve. I'm very happy to be on a playoff team that has learned to win," added Dorsey.

The guard has also revealed his favorite NBA players when growing up.

"I grew up in California watching Kobe and Shaq. I used to see them all the time. I was following their career," said Dorsey.
