According to journalist Marc Stein, the Dallas Mavericks are considering signing Campazzo as the third point guard on the roster.

The club is said to have given a chance for other players to earn the rotation spot in the training camp but Stein informs that the team would not disregard signing a veteran player to the position.

If the scenario ends up happening, Campazzo would join Luka Doncic again as the two played together for Real Madrid in the 2017-18 season during the three years the Slovenian superstar spent there before departing to the NBA.

Last season, the Argentinian guard averaged 5.1 points, 1.8 rebounds, and 3.4 assists per game in 65 matches played for the Denver Nuggets.

We have analyzed Campazzo's possible destinations in Europe. The article can be found here.
