The Sacramento Kings officially announced today that the team has waived guards Kent Bazemore and Quinn Cook.

Bazemore and Cook appeared in two pre-season games for the Kings.

The Kings' roster now stands at 18 players.

Cook, a two-time NBA champion, split time between Lokomotiv Kuban Krasnodar and the G League Stockton Kings last season.

He last played in the NBA for the Cleveland Cavaliers in the 2020-21 season.

In total, Cook represented five NBA teams since joining the league in 2016. He has been a member of the Dallas Mavericks, New Orleans Pelicans, Golden State Warriors, Los Angeles Lakers, and the aforementioned Cavs.

He won the 2018 NBA title with the Warriors and the 2020 championship with the Lakers. Cookholds NBA career averages of 6.4 points (40.8% 3PT), 1.7 rebounds, and 1.6 assists over 188 duels.

For his part, Bazemore spent his last season in the NBA with the Los Angeles Lakers, playing in 39 matches and averaging 3.4 points, 1.8 rebounds, and 0.9 assists per game.

Across 657 career duels with the Golden State Warriors, Lakers, Atlanta Hawks, Portland Trail Blazers, and Kings, Bazemore registered 8.2 points and 3.2 rebounds.
