Tamir Blatt hit two clutch three-pointers in overtime to cap off a dominant evening from ALBA Berlin.

ALBA Berlin (2-0) dominated the entire match but needed overtime to snatch their second upset in a row against EA7 Emporio Armani Milan (1-1) 80-74 (26-12, 12-18, 22-21, 10-19, 10-4).

After finishing the first quarter with a 14-point lead, ALBA Berlin led throughout the entirety of the game. With two minutes to go in the fourth quarter, the German team was up by five (70-65).

However, Kevin Pangos hit a triple, Kyle Hines converted both free throws after forcing a foul, and the score was tied at 70 (70-70). Nicolo Melli shot a wide-open three-pointer from a corner with a second left in the quarter but it was not successful, and the teams had to go to overtime.

Both teams struggled to score in the overtime with just 4 points between them in the first three-and-a-half minutes of the extra period. However, Tamir Blatt hit a clutch triple with over a minute to go to put ALBA up by three (77-74).

Milan did not score during the last minute, and ALBA captured their second upset win in a row after Tamir Blatt hit another triple with the buzzer.

With the last triple, Tamir Blatt became the top-scorer of the team with 13 points. Jaleen Smith also added 13 points but made just 2 three-pointers out of 10.
