The 1.96-meter guard played 65 games for the Bucks last year, starting 19 of them during the regular season, and averaged 9.9 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 1.3 assists in 26 minutes of play.
Connaughton has been improving his shooting percentages throughout the years. Three years ago, his three-point and two-point percentages stood at 33% and 60% respectively. Last season, the numbers improved to 39.5% and 64%.
The Bucks will start the year on Thursday night against the Philadelphia 76ers.
