"Greece is excellent, I want to come to Panathinaikos," ERT Sports claim the player told them.
However, the forward himself denies making such claims or giving any kind of interview.
Panathinaikos head coach Dejan Radonjic was asked about possibly adding Bacon to the roster after today's Greek League match against Lavrio Megabolt.
"Yes, I heard that. There were some rumors but we have talked about what the team needs," the coach said. "We are building a new team with new players, and we want a player who competes at the four. Bacon has a different profile than what we need."
Bacon is looking for a new career stopafter getting waived by the Los Angeles Lakers. He averaged 13.9 points, 3.1 rebounds, 1.1 assists, and 1.0 steals in 29 EuroLeague games with AS Monaco last season.
