Peyton Siva has agreed to a deal with the Illawarra Hawks for the remainder of the 2022-23 NBL season, according to Olgun Uluc of ESPN.
Peyton Siva

Siva, who played for the New Zealand Breakers during the 2021-22 season, gives the Hawks an experienced ball carrier who has experience in the NBL and high-level Europe.
The 31-year-old American averaged 11.8 points, 2.5 rebounds, and 4.6 assists per game with the Breakers last season, before signing with Panathinaikos Athens.
Siva finished his five-year stint at ALBA Berlin in the summer of 2021.
The point guard was crowned NCAA champion with Rick Pitino's Louisville Cardinals in 2013.
That same year, he was chosen in the NBA draft with the 56th pick by the Detroit Pistons, for which he played one year.
The Seattle-born athlete never really caught on in the NBA. He has NBA career averages of 2.3 points, 0.6 rebounds, and 1.4 assists over 24 duels.
Upon coming to Europe, he first signed with Italian Juvecaserta and in 2016 with Aito Garcia Reneses' ALBA Berlin, which he guided to two BBL championships, in 2020 and 2021. In 2018, Siva was named to the All-BBL First Team.
