Anadolu Efes Istanbul suffered the second defeat in a row in the EuroLeague. After losing to AS Monaco in overtime last week, the Turkish team fell against Valencia Basket today, both after intense fourth quarters.

Talking about the match, Efes head coach Ergin Ataman emphasized his team's behavior during the last seconds when Will Clyburn turned the ball over with just a few seconds to go and the game on the line.

"I want to start from the last part of the game, from the last possession," the coach told. "Maybe we complained too much to the referees about the situation, but as I watch now, they were correct. I also talked about it with the players in the locker room."

"The reality is, we defended terribly the entire game," Ataman explained. "They scored 16 three-pointers, they scored many open layups, especially with Chris Jones, and they deserved to win the game, that's the reality."

Anadolu Efes will now welcome ALBA Berlin on Friday in the second game of the double week.
