Los Angeles Clippers have been considering the possibility of bringing Kawhi Leonard off the bench to start the season in order to manage his minutes, according to Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports.

Leonard has missed the last 15 months as he recovers from a torn right ACL.

He appeared in two preseason games, averaging 9.5 points, 2.0 rebounds, and 2.0 assists in 16.5 minutes per match.

Leonard suffered the torn ACL on June 14th, 2021, in Game 4 of the Western Conference semifinals against the Utah Jazz.

The Clippers are preparing to take on the Los Angeles Lakers on Thursday night at Crypto.com Arena.
