Avramovic and Smailagic will have check-ups next week, after which it will be known more about their current condition and when Partizan fans can expect them to play.
Previously, Obradovic said that Partizan Belgrade will be without these two athletes until mid-December.
Avramovic injured his hand during the Serbian national team training camp. The 27-year-old guard trains regularly, despite the slow healing of a broken bone.
"I'm fine and feel great. I'm training in my regime. I'm doing a check-up on Monday, and I hope doctors will remove the cast. I'm doing what my hand allows. Nothing has changed in my work ethic. I'm training regularly, only my hand prevents me from doing basketball things," Avramovic told the club's TV.
Although he suffered the injury while playing for the Serbian NT, there is no question whether Avramovic will play for the squad in the future.
"Injury can happen anywhere. I have no regrets. I am mentally preparing to return to court. Everything starts from the head. Injuries are a part of sports, now it was the national team. It could be a club, national team, or gym. I am not looking behind."
For his part, Alen Smailagic has a leg injury that he sustained in Partizan's preparation cycle tour in Spain.
"I'm fine. The recovery is progressing. I expect to start working with the team soon. The next check-up is on Tuesday if I'm not mistaken. After that check-up, we'll know when I'll start playing," said Smailagic, who doesn't find it easy to watch his teammates from the side.
"It's not fun at all. I know I'm there, but I can't help my team. We all love basketball. It's hard to watch."
