New Orleans Pelicans forward Zion Williamson had to finish the game against the Utah Jazz early tonight after a scary fall in the fourth quarter.

With just over 8 minutes left in the match, Zion attempted a fastbreak dunk which was blocked by Jordan Clarkson. After losing possession of the ball, Williamson fell to the ground and was in visible pain.

The star forward left the game early and come back on the court. Although he was back on the bench after the initial checkup with the team's trainer, Zion was held back from returning to the game.

After the match, Williamson was diagnosed with a posterior hip contusion. Without him, the Pelicans lost in overtime 122-121.

In 30 minutes of play before the injury, Williamson collected 25 points (10/16 2PT, 5/6 FT) and 6 rebounds.

The Pelicans also lost Brandon Ingram during the match. Ingram collided with teammate Naji Marshall when attempting to steal a pass in the first quarter.

Although the player came back to the court during the second quarter, Ingram's appearance didn't last even a minute as he had to check himself out and went straight to the locker room. The forward was ruled out with concussion-like symptoms.
