In a 111-113 loss against the New Orleans Pelicans, the Dallas Mavericks superstar accumulated 37 points (14/17 2PT, 2/13 3PT, 3/5 FT), 11 rebounds, 7 assists, 2 steals, 1 block, and 3 turnovers.
Doncic became the first Maverick ever to open a season with 3 straight 30+ points games.
On top of that, Doncic is only the 2nd player in NBA history to total 100+ PTS, 25+ REB, and 20+ AST through the first 3 games of a season.
He joined Russell Westbrook, who did the same in the 2016-17 season.
Despite the solid performance against the Pelicans, Doncic took the responsibility, saying tonight's shot was similar to the one versus the Phoenix Suns.
"Two hard shots," Doncic said after the game. "Two or three seconds. So, I probably should get a better shot than that."
