Asked about the matchup against his former team, Kattash didn't want to be the center of attention.
"I'm not the story here, the story is much bigger than me," the coach said. "It's important for us to start the season well and take the wins at home. There are no easy games in the Euroleague. It's important for us to collect victories, certainly at the beginning of the season."
As announced by Donatas Urbonas from BasketNews, Dubai has become one of the main candidates to host the upcoming EuroLeague Final Four after Kaunas' bid received a hit yesterday.
Kattash was surprised to hear it.
"Bodiroga is responsible for that? He probably likes Dubai," the Israeli specialist commented. "Personally, I haven't been there yet, I would love to."
The clash between Maccabi and Panathinaikos is scheduled to start at 20:05 CET tomorrow. The Greek powerhouse will play without its newest addition Dwayne Bacon, while Nate Wolters will debut with the green shirt after healing from an injury.
