Intriguing EuroLeague games returned in full power on the first day of Round 5. Ten teams battled among themselves in five Thursday night matches.
Virtus delivered an upset of the night beating Real Madrid away, 95-92. The game was marked by a terrific Isaia Cordinier poster dunk over Walter Tavares.
In other games, Monaco reached mini revenge against Olympiacos for last season's quarterfinal loss, while Partizan, Valencia, and Maccabi secured their respective home wins.
