Jamaal Franklin is another player, who is departing from Shanghai Sharks, via the report. Franklin is now eyeing his first entry into the European market. Last season, he led Shanghai to their first Top 4 finish in 20 years.

For his part, the 33-year-old Beasley finished his fifth stint outside of the United States.

Beasley, who also played professional basketball in Puerto Rico in 2021, has represented seven different NBA teams during his career: Miami Heat, Minnesota Timberwolves, Phoenix Suns, Houston Rockets, Milwaukee Bucks, New York Knicks, and Los Angeles Lakers.

The CBA champion in 2019 has NBA career averages of 12.4 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 1.3 assists over 609 games.

In 2022, Beasley opened up about his struggle with anxiety and mental health, saying that a lot of people betrayed him over the course of his career.
