BeBasket.fr reports that the player is making a move to another French team in search of a bigger role on the team. The news outlet reports that the guard has agreed to a two-year deal with SIG Strasbourg.

Shortly after, ASVEL officially confirmed such information.

"Obviously we wish Paul the best for the future. We are very grateful for everything he has been able to bring to the club throughout his career there," said Gaetan Muller, Deputy Chairman of LDLC ASVEL.

Jamarr Sanders is expected to be let go by Strasbourg in the coming days. According to BasketNews sources, he is set to join Tezenis Verona in Italy.

Lacombe would be brought in to replace the American guard.

The 32-year-old Lacombe registered 10 minutes of play in the EuroLeague and 12 minutes of playing time in the French LNB, averaging 1.3 and 4.4 points respectively.

It would not be the first time playing for SIG for Lacombe. The Frenchman has already competed with the red shirt before during the 2013-2017 seasons where he became The Most Improved Player of the league in 2017.
