James Nunnally has been dealing with an injury that might cost him his participation in Partizan's coming EuroLeague game against Panathinaikos in Athens.

Partizan Mozzart Bet prepare themselves for a clash in Athens against Panathinaikos on Thursday (20:30 CET). The black-and-white are currently on a two-game winning streak in Europe's elite competition, but before traveling to Greece, Zeljko Obradovic discovered that there is a problem.

"James Nunnally hasn't been practicing, he feels bad. I don't know if he will travel," the 62-year-old coach told reporters at his team's training session.

Obradovic also addressed the recovery of Alen Smailagic and Aleksa Avramovic.

"Smailagic is fine. He'll start practicing soon, we'll see when he starts playing. I don't expect another twenty days. As far as Aleksa is concerned, I understand he'll have to wear some protection for another three weeks."

The Serbian point guard suffered a hand injury during the national team's preparation for the EuroBasket. He has not yet received the green light to start training. The hand bone is slowly healing, so the band had to stay on his hand. There is a high probability that Avramovic will take it off his at the next control.

Obradovic commented on Partizan's next opponent, Panathinaikos, who so far have only one win in the EuroLeague.

"Dwayne Bacon, the new player they brought in, will probably play," the winningest European coach said.

"But that doesn't mean we're not ready for the other players. Their place in the standings doesn't mean anything. This is a team that deserves all our respect. We will have to play a good game if we want to be at the level of the previous games."

Reporters also asked Obradovic about Balsa Koprivica and Tristan Vukcevic having a good game against Mega for the ABA League.

"We have to play 60 games in the season. So far, we have only played ten. There will be an opportunity for everyone. It's a pleasure for every coach to be able to divide playying time.

Whenever I can give the opportunity to everyone, it depends on them, on how they behave on the court," Obradovic pointed out.
