Although Chris Bosh played his last game in the NBA in February 2016, the Hall of Famer was still receiving payments from the Miami Heat for his last contract with the club.

Bosh's career ended abruptly when a blood clot was found in his leg, forcing the big man to stop playing during the 2015-16 season. Although the player tried coming back into the league, he was waived by the Heat the following season.

Ever since November 15th of 2017, the organization has been paying the $52.1 million remaining in his contract at that time in 120 twice-monthly installments of $434,393.

November 1st was the last day Bosh received any money from the contract, marking an end to the deal.

Following Bosh's official retirement in 2019, he was elected to the Hall of Fame. His no. 1 jersey was also retired by the Miami Heat.

Similarly, this year was also the end of the Los Angeles Lakers paying Luol Deng after his retirement as well.

Bosh won two NBA titles with the Heat in 2012 and 2013, forming the Big Three with LeBron James and Dwyane Wade.
