Dimitris Diamantidis became the consultant of the federation's developmental program and all national teams up to age of 18.

Dimitris Diamantidis has become a EuroLeague legend in his illustrious basketball career. Now, he will help young players to achieve the same.

Diamantidis has joined the Hellenic Basketball Federation as a developmental program consultant. He will also be helping all national teams up to the age of 18.

"I gladly accepted the offer to work with people with whom we have spent many years and many moments together on the courts and have developed solid relationships of respect, appreciation, and friendship, to try together to make young children love basketball and help them to evolve," the newly-appointed member told.

"I feel that there is a great responsibility and I am sure that together we will achieve something good," Diamantidis said.

The Greek basketball legend previously held the position of Panathinaikos Athens general manager. Following a year of bad results, he was relieved of his duties along with several other members of the club's managerial office.
