The second one arrived to blow some fresh wind into the roster after it struggled at the beginning.
Vildoza scored game-leading 20 points against FC Bayern Munich, grabbed 6 rebounds, and dished out 6 assists while Nedovic added 11 points.
"Luka is a great reinforcement, a refreshment for the whole team and it is a pleasure to play with such a player. When someone spends five years in Spain, he must be a proven player," Nedovic told Mozzart Sport.
Asked whether the Argentinian is a top 5 playmaker in Europe, the Serbian guard didn't hesitate.
"When he is at his best, for sure. I am glad that I have the opportunity to play with him. We can cause serious problems for other teams," Nedovic said.
Vildoza's impact didn't take long to materialize. Only two games were enough for him to become the MVP of the month of October in the ABA League. The guard averaged 16.5 points, 1.5 rebounds, and 6 assists for 24.5 PIR, making 8 triples out of 16.
"What helped me a lot was the chance to talk to the head coach before I got to Belgrade. He gave me the necessary confidence and let me know that the team wants me. When I arrived, the whole team supported me to show on the court what I am capable of. Also, the whole club helped me feel at home and to integrate into the environment in the best way possible," Vildoza said after receiving the award.
"I cannot promise to keep playing the way I did over the previous few games throughout the season, but what I can promise is to fight in every single game. I will keep pushing forward and try to do everything I can to help my team win," the guard concluded.
Crvena Zvezda will try to grab their second win in the EuroLeague against AS Monaco this week. The game is scheduled for Friday at 21:00 CET.
