"Unfortunately, I suffered a pretty serious injury," Darko-Kelly wrote. "I would like to thank those who showed interest, it means a lot to me. Fans of PAOK, you are truly unique. I feel blessed to have supportive teammates, coaching staff, and the club on my side."
"I know I'm in good hands. I have to say goodbye to basketball for a while, but I'm ready to start the process of getting back to doing what I love. I know my story will be better because I know the author," he added.
