According to SDNA, Panathinaikos are expected to file a protest to the EuroLeague over the refereeing decisions during the game.
"Those who saw the game drew their own conclusions," Panathinaikos communications officer Dimitris Kontos told NOVA. "Fans are outraged, you saw it. We have to be very careful about what we say."
"Panathinaikos will do everything humanly possible to the limit of legality to deal with this situation that has been following us for a long time.We will stay united to face the situation," he added.
Referees made a few debatable decisions throughout the game, with the biggest mistake being not calling a foul on Dante Exum against Dwayne Bacon.
Bacon was going for a dunk, and Exum clearly hit his hand, but the officials didn't whistle for a foul. Head coach Dejan Radonjic also received a technical foul.
Miguel Angel Perez, Fernando Rocha, and Saulius Racys were the referees of the game.
In the end, it was a close game, but Panathinaikos ran out of time to catch the opponents.
