Former EA7 Emporio Armani Milan player Konstantinos Mitoglou tested positive in an anti-doping test in March of this year. Two days ago, the doctor that gave the player the substance for which he got caught was arrested.

Greek news outlet Star has now obtained the court documents that reveal some behind-the-scenes details of the case.

The female doctor administered drugs to a number of athletes, actors, and TV presenters in Greece.

"The doctor assured me that the tablets were 'a miracle drug from Russia'. She gave me a clear serum. After my related question, she answered me that this serum would help to cleanse my body," Mitoglou said.

The female doctor is said to have promised treatments that helped treat various things from repairing injuries or boosting athletic performance to increasing libido or fighting aging.

The doctor, who worked as a microbiologist, used an area of her house as a so-called doctor's office.

"If we want to be honest, everyone knew why no one goes into someone's basement or apartment and no one receives serum treatment at home," her former colleague Theodoros Giannaros said to Star.

Mitoglou is said to have turned to the now-infamous doctor after he suffered a foot fracture earlier in the 2021-22 season.
